a story unhurried
hello!pomalo was founded by brooke conrady, fnp-c, a sixth-generation montanan. her family roots trace back to croatian and austrian immigrants who came to anaconda, montana generations ago to build a life and work in the historic copper smelter.
brooke has spent the past decade caring for patients at the bedside. she began her nursing career in the intensive care unit, where she spent years caring for critically ill patients and developing a deep understanding of complex medical conditions, acute care, and the importance of compassionate, thoughtful medicine.
motivated by a desire to expand her ability to care for patients across the lifespan, brooke went on to complete her family nurse practitioner degree through the university of phoenix and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner.
pomalo was created from a belief that healthcare should feel more personal, more accessible, and more thoughtful. after years of working in high-acuity hospital settings, brooke set out to build a practice that focuses on prevention, wellness, and meaningful patient relationships.
rooted in montana and inspired by her family’s croatian heritage, pomalo reflects a philosophy of unhurried care and a commitment to helping patients feel their best.
